ART AGAINST PROPAGANDA An event in support of the movie «Bucha» in New York

On October 8, an event called «ART AGAINST PROPAGANDA» took place in New York.
The event was co-organized by Mitzi Perdue, an American writer and volunteer who has visited Bucha many times and is now running a foundation that helps Ukraine with the demining of its territory.
During the event, Oleksandr Shchur, the producer and screenwriter of the film «Bucha», presented 30 minutes of the film's working materials to the audience. The audience discussed how Russian propaganda distorts the truth about the war in Ukraine, as well as ways to combat Russian propaganda.
The event was attended by Michael Weiss (a well-known investigative journalist who is currently working on a book about Russian GRU special operations), Katya Soldak (a Forbes journalist, a native of Ukraine from Kharkiv, who made a documentary about the impact of Russian propaganda on Ukraine since its independence), representatives of the American media, including Voice of America, representatives of the American business elite, including angel investor from Boston Semyon Dukach, who was one of the first to support the production of Bucha's film.
