The screenings of the working materials of the Ukrainian feature film BUCHA will take place in eight cities in the United States
In January 2024, the screenings of the working materials of the Ukrainian feature film BUCHA will take place in eight cities in the United States. These screenings are a part of the project ART AGAINST PROPAGANDA, which opposes Russian propaganda worldwide.

The events will be attended by government representatives, business figures, the public, key opinion leaders, and celebrities who have been supporting Ukraine in its struggle against aggression for the past two years and express a desire to continue providing support.

The screenings will be held in Northern New Jersey at the Cambridge Club House in Ramsey and the Hawthorne Theater in Hawthorne, in New York City at the University of Columbia, The Harvard Club, and Alpine Cinemas, in Washington, DC at the United States Congress, in Philadelphia at the Living Streams Church, and in Los Angeles.The film will also be shown during the Sundance Film Festival in Salt Lake City, UT.

As part of the events, meetings with the creative team will be held, including Oleksandr Shchur, the producer and screenwriter of the film, and Stanislav Tiunov, the film's director.  Guests will have the opportunity to participate in a panel discussion on countering Russian propaganda.

Additionally, charitable auctions for items from the leadership of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (ZSU), the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) of Ukraine, and other war artifacts will be conducted to raise funds for Ukrainian military personnel.

The ART AGAINST PROPAGANDA project and screenings are supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine.

The inaugural event of the ART AGAINST PROPAGANDA project took place on October 8th at the University Club in New York City. A special guest at the event was Semen Dukach, the Managing Director of Techstars, also known as a prominent business angel. The evening was co-organized and hosted by the renowned American author Mitch Perdue.
